Welcome to the Alola region!
Sun, sea, and new Pokémon await us all this November. Who's excited?! I know I certainly am. So to quench the thirst of this brand new Sun and Moon adventure I've arranged a piece of music to fit the new game's theme.
This is my re-imagining of the classic tune of the Pokémon Center theme - with an Alola twist. Whilst this style may not strictly be "Hawaiian" music, it's the kind of clichéd sound you hear in various media when Hawaii, or some kind of tropical setting, is represented. I thought the Pokémon Center melody and this genre of music blended very well together, and I had a lot of fun crafting this piece.
I tried to imagine the laid-back nature of the Pokémon Centers of Alola; the entrance doors set to "always open" to allow the cool breeze in, a trainer relaxing in a hammock whilst he/she awaits his Pokémon to be fixed up, the center's nurses offering cool coconut lemonade to visitors. And don't forget the Bellossom in the corner, practising her ukulele. Close your eyes and let the music take you to Alola...
