Here is an original composition that I composed in the style of video game music.
I chose to wrote the theme/leitmotif for a villain in an imaginary video game. This villain is not necessarily the "main" villain, but I imagine he/she is someone you meet early on in the game, someone who tries to trick you into their little ploy and failing. I imagine this villain has two dopey sidekicks too, and are taken out in the first third of the game. This villain is merely a pest, but may have larger implications with his superior.
I perhaps went overboard with the saxophone in the second half and I strayed away from the theme melody, but anyway, I'm very happy with the outcome.
Next, I'd like to write the theme for a proper villain, someone who is calculated and terrifying...so, something epic, then.
