This is a piece of music I wrote for a film student's project - a TV ad, advertising a fictional brand of vodka. In the advert, a ill-confident young man is at some kind of nightclub. He's hesitant to ask a certain lady for a dance, but eventually builds up the courage when he sees people drinking this new vodka.
The director wanted dance/electronic music to start with, and then to have this music interrupted at the end by classical music, for comedic purposes.
This was really enjoyable to create because dance is not a music genre I'm familiar with, so I had to grasp some new composing techniques. I'm thinking of developing the dance music part into a full track because I'm really pleased and surprised at how it turned out!
I'm trying to get a copy of the final advert to show you guys, hopefully I'm successful. In the meantime, hope you enjoy the music!
