I have worked out the basics for the enemy randomization and door code. Each level picks 2 enemies. Defeat them both and the bouncers and the door will appear telling you which direction you can choose on the map.
The goal is for me to create a wide variety of enemies to encounter and the pairing could offer some interesting interactions. In this screen there is the Olim (the snake like thing that pops up or down) and the Xinnam, which follows the player but cannot pass through the ground.
I am very pleased with how this is turning out as I had kind of made a system that makes it easy for me to make little pieces of code and plug it in on my lunch breaks.
