Warren Smith was an American rockabilly and country music singer, and guitarist. Like other rockabilly artists, Smith's contribution to the music has been recognized by the Rockabilly Hall of Fame. This upload contains two of his single cover releases:
1. "Rock 'N' Roll Ruby", a song credited to Johnny Cash or was actually written by American musician, singer-songwriter George Jones, and sold to Cash for $40, hit the #1 spot on local pop charts. This was Warren Smith's first record and it went on to outsell Sun record label's first song releases by Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash. and Carl Perkins.
2. Smith's 1957 version of "Red Cadillac and a Black Moustache" is a rockabilly ballad originally written and recorded by American country, and rockabilly singer-songwriter Bob Luman.
