When Dark Horse’s Aliens vs. Predator first hit the shelves in 1990, audiences were captivated by the sheer presentation of two monumental sci-fi titans, clashing on the page. Randy Stradley, Chris Warner, Phil Norwood, and the rest of the team not only conceived of some of the most iconic lore within franchise history, but also some of the most memorable characters as well. Most notably, Machiko Noguchi, the Chigusa Corp company representative, turned slayer of serpents and adversary to both friend and foe. But what of Robert Sheldon? Yes, Robert Sheldon, the 11-year-old boy who nearly fell to the hands of Tichinde and the unblooded hunting party, and became a Lovecraftian nightmare to scores of Alien and Predator.
