Legendary US based DJ and producer lands an original melodic, tech fuelled, house banger with a poignant nod to social media.
For those familiar with the US and wider N.American dance and electronic music scene, Puerto Rico born, Miami based dj & producer Robbie Rivera needs little introduction. A stalwart of the Florida early bass, tribal house, progressive trance and tech house scenes, Robbie cut his teeth smashing clubs and parties across South Beach and downtown Miami and is famed for his Juicy Beach party at Nikki Beach around the Miami Winter Music Conference. From running his own Juicy Music label to releases on Toolroom, Ultra, Subliminal, Strictly Rhythm, Astralwerks; classic remixes for the likes of Basement Jaxx, Soulsearcher, Harry Romero, Faithless, etc., it’s a long list(!), Robbie’s dance music pedigree runs deep.
On this new single 'Don’t Delete Me', Robbie fuses his early 90s Eurobeat influences with a tough melodic Techno and Tech House beat fusion sound that’s fresh but at the same time has a nostalgic feel to it. Combine that with the distinctly 90s Euro-house vibed and very distinct vocal hook, the sum of the parts definitely stands out in the current landscape of Piano House and no peak Tech House.
