Bristol/London duo APEXAPE return with a 2021 rework of the Pulse 90s house classic 'The Lover That You Are'.
APEXAPE have rapidly established themselves in the UK House producer / dj rankings over the last three years with standout releases on Good Company, CR2 and latterly on NewState Music. Singles such as Du Du Du, Joy & Pain, Reload, Hold On, Free In Love and Passion have cemented APEXAPE’s credibility as leaders in credible crossover UK house music and 'The Lover That You Are' adds to their portfolio.
Taking any classic, never mind a 90s house classic and reworking it for modern dancefloors is always tough but Benny & Klaud (APEXAPE) are not strangers to this, having rolled out superb versions of 'Joy & Pain' and 'Passion' in previous single outings. On 'The Lover That You Are', they take the vibe of the Pulse original and add a 2021 stamp to it whilst retaining a respectful retro feel.
