Genre busting, emotive, string ladden, indie-vocal house track from UK producer Crazy Fluke featuring the ethereal vocals of folk-pop singer songwriter Jodie Nicholson.
The Essex-raised and Hull-based producer Crazy Fluke has been making tracks for some time but having now honed his craft, he is ready to unleash his talents on the world at large. Taking in influences from the early rave days through to the current House, Techno and even Drum and Bass scenes, this versatile producer is lining up some killer releases for the future. His previous releases on New State including ‘Use Your Head’, 'Revolution' and 'Believer' won over the underground, attracting support from Anna Lunoe, Lost Frequencies, Rivaz, Paul Oakenfold, Don Diablo and more.
Over the past 18 months, Jodie has solidified her status as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging artists. Highlights have included a deserved place on the BBC Radio 6 Music playlist, as well as further tastemaker support from BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio, Record of the Day, American Songwriter, Mahogany, AlexRainBird, Sofar Sounds and Indie Shuffle, to name but a few. After making her festival debut on the mainstage at Wilderness 2021, Jodie also has the likes of All Points East, Liverpool Sound City, Long Division, Twisterella and more to look forward to this year, not to mention a run of dates with Nerina Pallot in November.
Combining progressive drums, 80s synth basslines plus that wonky cinematic string sample, all topped off with Jodie's haunting vocals equals a fresh stand out sound.
