These awards highlight the extraordinary work of Film Independent program alumni, whose body of
work and commitment to giving back have made far-reaching impact – both within the industry and in their communities.
Robbie Pickering is an American screenwriter, director and producer. He is best known as the creator adnd showrunner of the Starz limited series Gaslit (2022), and for writing and directing the award-winning independent film Natural Selection (2011). He has also written on Search Party and Mr. Robot. Ever since the debut of Project Involve back in 1993, Film Independent Artist Development has been on the forefront of educating, championing and furthering the
