This roasted salsa verde recipe adds a delicious, tangy kick to tacos, enchiladas, burritos or any other type of Mexican street food. The primary ingredients are tomatillos and green chile. I use Serrano chiles, but feel free to switch it up and try a different variety. Any of the ingredients can be adjusted to your preference. Just prep a little extra, taste as you go and add more accordingly.

ROASTED SALSA VERDE RECIPE
(makes around 2 cups)
Tomatillos, 5 each (medium size)
Fresh Garlic, 3 whole cloves
Yellow Onion, about 5 ounces (1/2 a medium onion)
Serrano Chiles, 2 each
