Internationally acclaimed tenor Siyabonga Maqungo performs “Granada”, a Spanish song composed by Agustín Lara in 1935 and inspired by the city of Granada in Spain. Widely regarded as one of the most performed pieces in the classical tenor repertoire, the song is known for its powerful vocal demands and dramatic character. This performance showcases Siyabonga’s vocal strength and control. Conducted by Chad Hendricks with the Phoenix Co. Orchestra at Country Club Johannesburg in 2026.
