In this video, I am out in my canoe on my local river headed for a favourite camp spot to spend the night.

Having set up a simple tarp and bivvy shelter, using my c anoe as the back wall, I collect and prepare firewood ready for my evenings fire.

Stuffed aubergine (eggplant) is on the menu, washed down with a couple of very nice beers.

The morning brings sunshine, coffee and pancakes - fuel for my paddle to where I parked.
