My review of the reimagining of the legendary "Planet of the Apes" film series, which consists of the original 5 as well as the Tim Burton 2001 remake and now "Rise". My review of Hunter S. Thompsons second true novel and the only one of the two that was published proper, The Rum Diary. Its a breezy read and one with some hidden depth and it wont set you back too much. I would highly suggest it. The Rum Diary wont blow your mind but is well-worth the money you would spend on it.
Edit: I had to change the description because I had listed this as HSTs first novel, when in fact the still-unpublished Prince Jellyfish is his first.")
