My review of Hunter S. Thompsons second true novel and the only one of the two that was published proper, "The Rum Diary". It's a breezy read and one with some hidden depth and it won't set you back too much. I would highly suggest it. "The Rum Diary" won't blow your mind but is well-worth the money you would spend on it.

Edit: I had to change the description because I had listed this as HST's first novel, when in fact the still-unpublished "Prince Jellyfish" is his first.
