RISC-V is Ready for Powering the Era of Intelligent General Computing - Dr. Charlie Su, Andes Technology
Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI/ML innovations are rapidly transforming the computing landscape. Their influence now extends beyond traditional AI domains into a broad spectrum of feature-rich, general-purpose applications—ushering in what we call Intelligent General Computing (IGC). This includes emerging use cases such as AI PCs, edge servers, surveillance systems, drones, ADAS, and robotics.
In this talk, we will introduce the concept of IGC and examine how the RISC-V ecosystem is evolving to meet its demands. We’ll highlight Andes Technology’s latest solutions, including the newly launched RVA23-capable out-of-order processors Cuzco andAX66 for general computing, as well as the AX46MPV vector processor designed for large-scale intelligent workloads. We’ll also explore Andes’ software stack built on top of the RISC-V ecosystem, showcasing how it enables scalable and efficient development for IGC applications.
