This session was a part of the Hardware track at the RISC-V Developer Workshops held at RISC-V Summit Europe 2026 in Bologna, Italy.

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

The RISC-V Certification Steering Committee is developing a certification test suite. Phase 0 covering RVI20 is presently in early release, with work in progress on RVA22 and RVA23.

This talk shows how the Architecture Certification Test framework generates self-checking tests and measures coverage. It demonstrates how to run them on a DUT and debug discrepancies.
