After 28 weeks travelling around Europe, we promised we’d continue tracking our finances once we returned home — and this is our first proper update!
In this video, we look at our spending for July and August, including fuel, shopping, camping and all those extra everyday expenses that seem to add up surprisingly quickly! 💷
We also compare our UK food spending with what we were spending during our 28 weeks travelling through Spain 🇪🇸 and France 🇫🇷
And the results were actually quite interesting…
Was France really as expensive as we thought?
Is the UK cheaper for food than France?
Have we managed to stick to our budget since coming home?
And did August completely derail our plans?! 😳
We’re always going to be honest about our finances and show you the good, the bad and the slightly embarrassing bits — because real-life travel and van life isn't always sunshine and rainbows!
Plus, Doris makes a little appearance… because obviously she had to get involved! 🐶❤️

💷 August total: £1,576.58
Now we’re heading into September with one goal — KEEP THE SPENDING DOWN! 😂
