We’ve been staying at Ayamonte Marina Aires for the last couple of days and wanted to share a full, honest review of what it’s like to stay here in your motorhome or campervan.
This aires is part of the Red de Áreas de Autocaravanas marina network in Spain, which also includes Chipiona, Barbate (near Tarifa), and Caleta (near Málaga). All of them follow the same pricing structure and layout, making them really easy to use if you’re travelling along the Spanish coast.
💰 Prices (at time of filming, slightly out in the vlog)
Pitch: €13.15 per night
Electric: €1.92 per night
Shower & toilet card: €15 refundable deposit
Washing machine (10kg): €3.50
Tumble dryer (60 mins): €2.00
Ferry to Portugal: €2.50 per adult, each way
The marina is spotless, well maintained, secure, and very close to town, supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, and an indoor market. It’s a working Spanish town rather than a tourist resort, which we really love.
Although Friday night was a bit noisy (as you’d expect in a town), we still felt safe and relaxed staying in an official marina rather than wild camping.
This is quickly becoming one of our favourite aires in Spain and definitely one we’ll return to.
