Alright Hyena here, lets get back on track with these videos, todays upload is an XBC H2 tage entitled 'Ringo' with gameplay from Halo 2 veteran FKN and editing by terv, it is an entry to the THF 2014 movie comp.
Gameplay- The gameplay in this video was consistently good, XBC can be a mixed bag but the majority of clips looked like they were on people who knew how to play, and FKN certainly outplayed people severely in a few clips. Notable kills for me were the quicksope killtac to elbow at 1:24, drop down noscope trocity at 2:22, and the final BXR noscope tac, some very good gameplay in here. Only thing i would have like to have seen more map/gametype variety, but i understand that can be hard to achieve on XBC especially during the time period FKN got these clips in.
Editing- Terv did a solid job with the editing, good synching for the most part and good flow, songs are always subjective but i thought they played well alongside the gameplay, text and titles could've had more work in my opinion but i understand that trying to be QsK King wasn't tervs objective, it was to show the gameplay with some minor enhancements, and in that he succeeded, nothing wrong here. Also to add i really liked the Jaro sequence midway through the video, reminded me of Obscure Terrors work with MgS1SnAkE, not sure if that was intentional
Overall in my opinion this video is a solid entry for the contest and has enough decent gameplay to warrant attention, not only that but to serve to the hype train that is the MCC, i personally would rate this video a solid 7 out of 10, hope you people enjoy!
