Today we are riding Trinity Railway Express (TRE), the commuter rail that has connected Dallas and Fort Worth in Texas since 1996. Jointly operated by DART and Trinity Metro, this 34-mile line sees service every 30 minutes on weekdays, every 60 on Saturdays... but not at all on Sundays.
Though TRE has its own fleet, we ended up riding some Northstar cars from Minnesota. What are Northstar trains doing in the Lone Star state?

Randomly someone wrote an article about my old Northstar video: minnesotasnewcountry.com/is-minnesotas-northstar-rail-the-worst-train-service-line-in-america
