[4K] Battle of the Bands at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, join us for one of the headline live shows of the LEGO Festival 2026 as rival bands take to the stage in Heartlake City for an interactive musical performance packed with audience participation, singing and dancing.
Battle of the Bands is one of the featured entertainment experiences of the LEGO Festival, bringing together live music, comedy, LEGO characters and family interaction. The show follows two rival bands, Beats in Harmony and Thunder Brickz, as they compete to become the festivals headline act. After a series of musical challenges and a few unexpected setbacks, the rivals discover that the best performance comes from working together, creating the ultimate song with plenty of help from the audience. Families are encouraged to sing, dance, clap along and even join in with imaginary instruments, making every performance an energetic and interactive experience.
The show takes place in Heartlake City, one of the most colourful areas of LEGOLAND Windsor. Inspired by the LEGO Friends theme, Heartlake City is home to Mias Riding Adventure, Heartlake City Express and a variety of live entertainment throughout the season. During the LEGO Festival, the area becomes the Music Zone, hosting Battle of the Bands along with opportunities to meet characters following selected performances.
The LEGO Festival takes place at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort from 20 July until 31 August 2026, transforming the park with exclusive entertainment, live shows and interactive experiences. Alongside the Music Zone, guests can also explore the LEGO Formula 1 Thrill Zone, LEGO Pokémon Play Zone, Creative Zone and Chill Out Zone, with all festival activities included with standard park admission.
Founded in Billund, Denmark, in 1932, LEGO has inspired generations through creativity, imagination and play. Today the LEGO brand includes popular themes such as LEGO City, Friends, DUPLO, NINJAGO, Formula 1, Pokémon, Star Wars, Disney and Marvel, with LEGOLAND Resorts bringing those worlds to life through rides, attractions and interactive experiences.
LEGOLAND Windsor Resort opened on 17 March 1996 as the second LEGOLAND park after LEGOLAND Billund. Built on the former Windsor Safari Park site, the resort now features more than 55 rides and attractions across themed lands including Bricktopia, LEGO City, DUPLO Valley, Heartlake City, Miniland, Knights Kingdom, Pirate Shores, Kingdom of the Pharaohs, LEGO NINJAGO World and LEGO MYTHICA World of Mythical Creatures. The 2026 season also celebrates the parks 30th Birthday with anniversary entertainment throughout the resort.

Playtime with Hopsy is an interactive live show where Hopsy the LEGO DUPLO Bunny and friends invite guests to become part of the story. Throughout the performance, families use their imagination to build LEGO creations that help Hopsy overcome challenges along the way, from crossing rivers to solving problems using teamwork and creativity. Every show is slightly different as guests create their own unique LEGO builds, making each performance a fun and engaging experience for the whole family. Playtime with Hopsy is one of the featured live shows in the LEGO Festival Chill Out Zone, encouraging creativity, storytelling and hands on play.
Hopsy is the cheerful red LEGO DUPLO Bunny who has become one of the newest characters at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort. First introduced through Hopsys Hideaway in DUPLO Valley, Hopsy celebrates creativity, friendship and imaginative play, appearing throughout the resort to meet guests and star in interactive entertainment during the LEGO Festival.
DUPLO Valley is one of the most colourful areas of LEGOLAND Windsor and is designed especially for younger families. The land is home to attractions including Fairy Tale Brook, DUPLO Dino Coaster, Splash Safari, Drench Towers, the DUPLO Express and Hopsys Hideaway, alongside interactive play areas where families can enjoy building, exploring and playing together.

Dining at Discovery Cove is fully included, with a freshly prepared breakfast and lunch, unlimited snacks, soft drinks, and select beer and wine available throughout the day. Guests can enjoy poolside and table service dining, shaded seating areas, and convenient snack stations without worrying about additional costs. Wetsuits, snorkel gear, towels, lockers, sunscreen, and changing facilities are all provided as part of the experience, reinforcing the all inclusive nature of the park.
Discovery Cove is owned and operated by United Parks and Resorts and opened in 2000 as a sister park to SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica Orlando. Its concept was created to offer a quieter, more immersive alternative to traditional theme parks, blending marine life conservation, guest interaction, and luxury resort design. Over the years, expansions such as The Grand Reef and Freshwater Oasis have refined the experience, keeping Discovery Cove at the forefront of premium animal encounter attractions.
SeaWorld Orlando is directly next door and remains one of Florida’s most well known theme parks, offering major coasters, animal presentations, seasonal events, and educational exhibits. Many guests choose to combine Discovery Cove with visits to SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica, creating a multi day experience that balances thrill rides, water parks, and close up animal interactions.

Take a full tour of Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter during the First Year at Hogwarts event, running from 7th May to 7th September 2026. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, this special feature takes guests back to where the magic began, with new displays, interactive experiences, original props, and behind-the-scenes secrets from the very first Harry Potter film.
The tour begins in the Great Hall, transformed to celebrate Gryffindors House Cup victory with floating sorting hats suspended above the tables and Gryffindor banners hanging throughout the hall. Guests can then explore the Harry Potter Interior Sets, including the Gryffindor Common Room, Dumbledores Office, Potions Classroom, Hagrids Hut, and the Dark Arts area.
Enter the Forbidden Forest before boarding the Hogwarts Express at Platform 9¾. The Backlot features 4 Privet Drive, the Knight Bus, Sirius Blacks Motorbike, the Weasleys Burrow, and Professor Sprouts Greenhouse where guests can repot Mandrakes. New for 2026, the Backlot Stage presents Secrets of Sound Effects, revealing how filmmakers created magical sounds, flying lessons, and Quidditch scenes for the Harry Potter films.
As part of the First Year at Hogwarts celebration, guests can discover original props and costumes from Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, including the restored paw mould of Fluffy and the original self-playing harp. A new Wizard Chess display features moving chess pieces alongside the original knight that Ron Weasley sacrifices himself on during the famous chess challenge.
The tour continues through Gringotts Wizarding Bank, Diagon Alley, and the Hogwarts Castle model, built for Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone and used throughout all eight films.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter opened in 2012 at Leavesden Studios, where all eight Harry Potter films were produced. Leavesden is also home to the upcoming HBO Harry Potter television series starring Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley. The new series is expected to debut in 2026, bringing J.K. Rowlings Wizarding World to a new generation of fans.
Warner Bros. has also expanded the Studio Tour experience with attractions in Tokyo and Hollywood, allowing fans around the world to explore the magic behind the Harry Potter films.

CandyPips SweetEasy store is arebranded sweet shop in Thorpe Park’s Big Easy Boulevard. Previously known as the Flock N Shop during the Angry Birds Land era, this store has been completely transformed into a colourful sweet and snack shop. Located right in the heart of Big Easy Boulevard, CandyPips SweetEasy is packed from with a large selection of treats and themed souvenirs.
Inside the shop, youll find an impressive selection of sweets and snacks, including classic pick and mix, chocolate favourites like Cadbury’s, and a wide range of lollies, ice creams, and refreshing cold drinks. The CandyPips SweetEasy store also offers exclusive Thorpe Park-themed CandyPips hoodies and t-shirts, making it a great place to pick up a CandyPips souvenir from Thorpe Parks New Orleans themed area. As always, Annual Pass holders can enjoy discounts on purchases by presenting their pass at the till.
CandyPips SweetEasy sits in the recently developed Big Easy Boulevard at Thorpe Park Resort, which replaced Angry Birds Land at the start of the 2024 season. The area is inspired by the laid-back, fun-filled vibes of New Orleans, bringing music, celebration, and bright colours to Thorpe Park. Big Easy Boulevard links Amity Cove, Amity Speedway, and the area near Nemesis Inferno, serving as a crossroads within the resort.
As part of the transformation, rides in the former Angry Birds Land have been given new life. The dodgems are now Big Easy Bumpers set at a colourful gas station. Detonator has been reimagined as Freedom Firework Co., where every day is a celebration. The former Angry Birds Cinema is now the Sunset Cinema, playing the 4D experience of Ready Player One. Dobbles Tea Party, a retheme of Storm in a Teacup, adds to the street’s energy. The entire area reflects a care-free, street party atmosphere where guests are encouraged to soak up the fun and let the good times roll.
Thorpe Park, located in Surrey just outside of London, is a leading UK theme park known for its record-breaking roller coasters, water rides, family attractions and seasonal events. Now operated by Merlin Entertainments, it has been thrilling visitors since 1979. With recent developments like Hyperia, currently the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the UK, and new areas like Big Easy Boulevard, the park continues to evolve and attract thrill-seekers from across the country.

Funny Express is a family train ride located in Fantasy Kingdom at Gardaland Resort. Funny Express takes guests on a journey through Prezzemolo’s magical world with oversized mushrooms, elf villages and detailed storybook environments. Funny Express offers a gentle ride experience through one of the most imaginative areas of Gardaland Park.
During the Funny Express ride, guests travel through the Fantasy Kingdom village of elves, passing themed scenes featuring flour sacks, sweet making displays, giant mushrooms and decorative fantasy buildings before reaching the chocolate statue of the elf king. The Funny Express attraction focuses on themed environments, detailed fantasy scenery and light hearted storytelling making Funny Express a relaxing ride within Fantasy Kingdom at Gardaland.
Fantasy Kingdom is one of the themed areas of Gardaland Resort and has delivered family attractions and themed experiences for over 25 years. Located around Prezzemolo’s famous tree house, Fantasy Kingdom includes attractions such as Volaplano, a scenic aerial ride, Magic House, a themed madhouse attraction, Doremifarm, a tractor themed family ride, and Albero di Prezzemolo, the home of Gardaland’s dragon mascot. Fantasy Kingdom remains one of the core family areas of Gardaland Park, focused on imaginative attractions and fantasy environments.
Prezzemolo became Gardaland’s mascot in 1984, his role throughout Fantasy Kingdom helps connect family attractions, themed experiences and merchandise across the park.
Gardaland Resort is one of Europe’s most visited theme park resorts, located near Lake Garda in northern Italy. Gardaland Park features major roller coasters including Raptor, Oblivion The Black Hole, Blue Tornado, Shaman and Mammut, alongside water rides such as Fuga da Atlantide, Colorado Boat and Jungle Rapids, as well as dark rides including Jumanji The Adventure and Animal Treasure Island.
The wider Gardaland Resort also includes Gardaland SEA LIFE Aquarium, featuring marine life exhibits and underwater tunnels, and LEGOLAND Water Park Gardaland, Europe’s first LEGOLAND Water Park. A Million Splashes of Colour returned to Disneyland Park on 7th February 2026 and runs until 6th September 2026. First introduced in 2024, the daytime entertainment combines a parade along Main Street, U.S.A. with a larger performance normally staged around Central Plaza in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. The 2026 edition features four floats celebrating Disney and Pixar creativity through art, music and storytelling, accompanied by characters including Mickey, Minnie, Mirabel from Encanto, Joy from Inside Out, Timon from The Lion King and characters from Tangled and Coco.
The parade travels along Main Street, U.S.A. towards Sleeping Beauty Castle before continuing into its Central Plaza show. Performances can be adapted because of weather or operational conditions, allowing the parade section to travel around Central Plaza and return along Main Street without the normal castle stage performance.
Main Street, U.S.A. forms the entrance to Disneyland Park and recreates an idealised American town around the beginning of the 20th century. Running from Town Square towards Sleeping Beauty Castle, its shops, restaurants and period architecture provide the setting for many Disneyland Paris parades and seasonal celebrations. Other productions presented at Disneyland Park have included Disney Stars on Parade, seasonal Halloween and Christmas parades and numerous anniversary celebrations.
Sleeping Beauty Castle, officially named Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant, has stood at the centre of Disneyland Park since 1992. Beyond Main Street, the park is divided into Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland and Discoveryland, with attractions including Big Thunder Mountain, Phantom Manor, Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pans Flight, Its a Small World and Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain.
Disneyland Park opened on 12th April 1992 as Euro Disneyland and was the first theme park at the resort. Its five themed lands combine classic Disney stories with attractions inspired by adventure, fantasy, the American frontier and visions of the future.
Disneyland Paris is located in Chessy, east of Paris and includes Disneyland Park, Disney Adventure World, Disney Village and several Disney Hotels. Disney Adventure World has undergone a major transformation with Avengers Campus, Worlds of Pixar, Adventure Way and World of Frozen. Development continues with The Pride Lands, known in French as La Terre des Lions, a future themed land inspired by Disneys The Lion King.
