Take a full tour of Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter during the First Year at Hogwarts event, running from 7th May to 7th September 2026. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, this special feature takes guests back to where the magic began, with new displays, interactive experiences, original props, and behind-the-scenes secrets from the very first Harry Potter film.
The tour begins in the Great Hall, transformed to celebrate Gryffindor's House Cup victory with floating sorting hats suspended above the tables and Gryffindor banners hanging throughout the hall. Guests can then explore the Harry Potter Interior Sets, including the Gryffindor Common Room, Dumbledore's Office, Potions Classroom, Hagrid's Hut, and the Dark Arts area.
Enter the Forbidden Forest before boarding the Hogwarts Express at Platform 9¾. The Backlot features 4 Privet Drive, the Knight Bus, Sirius Black's Motorbike, the Weasleys' Burrow, and Professor Sprout's Greenhouse where guests can repot Mandrakes. New for 2026, the Backlot Stage presents Secrets of Sound Effects, revealing how filmmakers created magical sounds, flying lessons, and Quidditch scenes for the Harry Potter films.
As part of the First Year at Hogwarts celebration, guests can discover original props and costumes from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, including the restored paw mould of Fluffy and the original self-playing harp. A new Wizard Chess display features moving chess pieces alongside the original knight that Ron Weasley sacrifices himself on during the famous chess challenge.
The tour continues through Gringotts Wizarding Bank, Diagon Alley, and the Hogwarts Castle model, built for Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and used throughout all eight films.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter opened in 2012 at Leavesden Studios, where all eight Harry Potter films were produced. Leavesden is also home to the upcoming HBO Harry Potter television series starring Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley. The new series is expected to debut in 2026, bringing J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World to a new generation of fans.
Warner Bros. has also expanded the Studio Tour experience with attractions in Tokyo and Hollywood, allowing fans around the world to explore the magic behind the Harry Potter films.

CandyPips SweetEasy store is arebranded sweet shop in Thorpe Park’s Big Easy Boulevard. Previously known as the Flock N Shop during the Angry Birds Land era, this store has been completely transformed into a colourful sweet and snack shop. Located right in the heart of Big Easy Boulevard, CandyPips SweetEasy is packed from with a large selection of treats and themed souvenirs.
Inside the shop, youll find an impressive selection of sweets and snacks, including classic pick and mix, chocolate favourites like Cadbury’s, and a wide range of lollies, ice creams, and refreshing cold drinks. The CandyPips SweetEasy store also offers exclusive Thorpe Park-themed CandyPips hoodies and t-shirts, making it a great place to pick up a CandyPips souvenir from Thorpe Parks New Orleans themed area. As always, Annual Pass holders can enjoy discounts on purchases by presenting their pass at the till.
CandyPips SweetEasy sits in the recently developed Big Easy Boulevard at Thorpe Park Resort, which replaced Angry Birds Land at the start of the 2024 season. The area is inspired by the laid-back, fun-filled vibes of New Orleans, bringing music, celebration, and bright colours to Thorpe Park. Big Easy Boulevard links Amity Cove, Amity Speedway, and the area near Nemesis Inferno, serving as a crossroads within the resort.
As part of the transformation, rides in the former Angry Birds Land have been given new life. The dodgems are now Big Easy Bumpers set at a colourful gas station. Detonator has been reimagined as Freedom Firework Co., where every day is a celebration. The former Angry Birds Cinema is now the Sunset Cinema, playing the 4D experience of Ready Player One. Dobbles Tea Party, a retheme of Storm in a Teacup, adds to the street’s energy. The entire area reflects a care-free, street party atmosphere where guests are encouraged to soak up the fun and let the good times roll.
Thorpe Park, located in Surrey just outside of London, is a leading UK theme park known for its record-breaking roller coasters, water rides, family attractions and seasonal events. Now operated by Merlin Entertainments, it has been thrilling visitors since 1979. With recent developments like Hyperia, currently the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the UK, and new areas like Big Easy Boulevard, the park continues to evolve and attract thrill-seekers from across the country.

Funny Express is a family train ride located in Fantasy Kingdom at Gardaland Resort. A Million Splashes of Colour returned to Disneyland Park on 7th February 2026 and runs until 6th September 2026. First introduced in 2024, the daytime entertainment combines a parade along Main Street, U.S.A. with a larger performance normally staged around Central Plaza in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. The 2026 edition features four floats celebrating Disney and Pixar creativity through art, music and storytelling, accompanied by characters including Mickey, Minnie, Mirabel from Encanto, Joy from Inside Out, Timon from The Lion King and characters from Tangled and Coco.
The parade travels along Main Street, U.S.A. towards Sleeping Beauty Castle before continuing into its Central Plaza show. Performances can be adapted because of weather or operational conditions, allowing the parade section to travel around Central Plaza and return along Main Street without the normal castle stage performance.
Main Street, U.S.A. forms the entrance to Disneyland Park and recreates an idealised American town around the beginning of the 20th century. Running from Town Square towards Sleeping Beauty Castle, its shops, restaurants and period architecture provide the setting for many Disneyland Paris parades and seasonal celebrations. Other productions presented at Disneyland Park have included Disney Stars on Parade, seasonal Halloween and Christmas parades and numerous anniversary celebrations.
Sleeping Beauty Castle, officially named Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant, has stood at the centre of Disneyland Park since 1992. Beyond Main Street, the park is divided into Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland and Discoveryland, with attractions including Big Thunder Mountain, Phantom Manor, Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pans Flight, Its a Small World and Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain.
Disneyland Park opened on 12th April 1992 as Euro Disneyland and was the first theme park at the resort. Its five themed lands combine classic Disney stories with attractions inspired by adventure, fantasy, the American frontier and visions of the future.
Disneyland Paris is located in Chessy, east of Paris and includes Disneyland Park, Disney Adventure World, Disney Village and several Disney Hotels. Disney Adventure World has undergone a major transformation with Avengers Campus, Worlds of Pixar, Adventure Way and World of Frozen. Development continues with The Pride Lands, known in French as La Terre des Lions, a future themed land inspired by Disneys The Lion King.

Enter the dark and mysterious Forbidden Forest set from teh Harry Potter movies at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter. Located after the Dark Arts section of the Interior Sets, the Forbidden Forest transports guests into one of Hogwarts most dangerous locations. Visitors who prefer to avoid the giant spiders, Argogs lair and the lighting effects can bypass part of the experience by taking the optional shortcut located just after Buckbeak the Hippogriff.
Home to an abundance of magical creatures, the Forbidden Forest first appeared in Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone when Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy, and Hagrid entered the woods during detention. It was here that Harry first encountered the weakened Lord Voldemort drinking unicorn blood and met the centaur Firenze, who rescued him and warned of the dark events unfolding around Hogwarts. The forest continued to play a major role throughout the Harry Potter series and remains one of the most memorable locations in the Wizarding World.
Passing through the Hogwarts gates, guests are welcomed by one of Robbie Coltranes original Hagrid costumes before walking beneath the Forbidden Forests giant trees. Among the roots stands Buckbeak the Hippogriff, faithfully recreated with individually applied feathers by the Creature Effects team. Visitors can bow respectfully to Buckbeak before continuing deeper into the forest.
Further ahead, the atmosphere becomes darker as Aragog emerges from his lair accompanied by countless spiderlings. Created by the films Creature Effects department, the enormous Acromantula measures more than 18 feet across and recreates the terrifying encounter from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Throughout the area, lighting, fog, sound effects, and interactive weather demonstrations reveal the techniques filmmakers used to bring the Forbidden Forest to life on screen. You can even cast a Patronus charm here in the Forbidden Forest.
The Forbidden Forest forms part of the First Year at Hogwarts event, running from 7th May to 7th September 2026 and celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone movie. Throughout the Studio Tour, guests can discover original props, costumes, Wizard Chess pieces, Fluffy the three-headed dog, and interactive experiences inspired by Harry Potters first year at Hogwarts.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour London opened in 2012 at Leavesden Studios, where all eight Harry Potter films were produced. The attraction showcases authentic sets, costumes, props, creature effects, and filmmaking secrets from the Wizarding World. The Forbidden Forest itself was added to the Studio Tour in 2017 and is a popular experiences on the Harry Potter tour.
Leavesden Studios is also home to the upcoming HBO Harry Potter television series starring Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley. The new adaptation is expected to premiere in 2026.

Elevated walkways and bridges cross parts of the lagoon, offering unique views down into the water, while island paths and shaded areas provide quiet spots to pause and take in the surroundings. Complimentary life jackets are required and provided in the Grand Reef, ensuring a safe and accessible experience for all guests enjoying the reef.
In addition to the main snorkel experience, The Grand Reef is also home to several premium animal encounters for guests looking to enhance their visit. These include Ray Feeding with Discovery Cove aquarists, SeaVenture which is an underwater walking tour using a dive helmet, and the Shark Interaction Program which allows guests to swim alongside multiple shark species. These Grand Reef experiences are optional upgrades and availability is limited each day.
The Grand Reef opened in 2011 as a major expansion of Discovery Cove, replacing the park’s original reef system. The new Grand Reef habitat was designed to be larger, more immersive, and more environmentally sustainable, featuring improved water systems and expanded animal habitats. Its design reflects Discovery Cove’s focus on combining conservation, guest interaction, and resort style relaxation within a single experience.
Discovery Cove itself opened in 2000 and is owned and operated by United Parks and Resorts. Unlike traditional theme parks, Discovery Cove was created as a reservation only, all inclusive day resort where attendance is limited to maintain a calm and personal atmosphere. Over the years, additions like The Grand Reef and Freshwater Oasis have helped define Discovery Cove as one of Orlando’s most premium animal encounter destinations.
Located directly next to SeaWorld Orlando, Discovery Cove is part of a wider collection of marine themed attractions in the area, including Aquatica Orlando. SeaWorld Orlando offers large scale rides, animal presentations, and seasonal events, making it a popular combination with a Discovery Cove visit for guests looking to balance thrills with relaxation and close up wildlife experiences.

This unique Valgard opening day show featured fierce Viking warriors, powerful visual effects, dramatic smoke, fire elements and the symbolic Raven, helping establish Valgard’s mythology and immersive atmosphere from the very first day.
Designed to celebrate the arrival of Paultons Park’s most ambitious expansion to date, the Valgard opening ceremony introduced guests to a world inspired by Norse legends, ancient battles and Viking exploration.
At the heart of Valgard stands Drakon, Paultons Park’s first ever inverting roller coaster. Manufactured by Gerstlauer, this custom Euro-Fighter coaster features a vertical lift hill, beyond vertical drop, powerful inversions and intense Viking-themed thrills, making it the park’s most extreme coaster experience.
Raven, formerly Cobra, has been transformed into a Viking-themed family thrill coaster. This Gerstlauer bobsled coaster now operates as a major part of Valgard’s storyline, combining fast-paced twists, turns, drops and airtime with extensive new theming.
Vild Swing is the UK’s first ART Engineering Wild Swing, delivering gravity-defying swinging thrills within the Viking realm. Standing 12 metres tall, this family thrill ride adds another major attraction to Valgard’s lineup.
Younger adventurers can explore The Orchard Playground, featuring Viking-themed climbing structures, slides, lookout towers and interactive play areas.
The Nordic Feasting Hall serves as Valgard’s themed restaurant hub, offering Viking-inspired dining and expanding Paultons Park’s immersive food experiences.
Paultons Park, located in Hampshire’s New Forest, is one of the UK’s leading family theme parks and home to over 70 rides and attractions. The park is internationally recognised for Peppa Pig World, the world’s first Peppa Pig themed land, alongside major areas including Lost Kingdom, home to Velociraptor, Flight of the Pterosaur, Splash Lagoon and Dinosaur Tour Co.; Tornado Springs, featuring Storm Chaser, Cyclonator, Buffalo Falls and Al’s Auto Academy; Critter Creek; and Ghostly Manor, the interactive haunted dark ride that opened in 2025.
Looking ahead, Paultons Park’s next major expansion is already confirmed with Serpent’s Curse, the UK’s first ever water coaster, arriving in Valgard in 2027. Thorpe Park Resort in Surrey is one of the UK’s leading theme parks, featuring major roller coasters, water rides, shops and themed areas including Fearless Valley, Swarm Island, Amity Cove, The Jungle, Lost City, Big Easy Boulevard, The Dock Yard, The Port and Basecamp. Major Thorpe Park rides include Hyperia, The Swarm, Nemesis Inferno, Stealth, Saw The Ride and Colossus.
Hyperia remains the headline roller coaster in Fearless Valley, standing 236 feet tall and reaching 81 mph as the UK’s tallest and fastest roller coaster. Swarm Island is home to The Swarm, the UK’s only wing coaster, surrounded by an apocalyptic alien invasion setting with a crashed aircraft and destroyed emergency vehicles. The Launchpad is now open on part of the former Amity Beach site, providing a dedicated area with seating and shaded spaces where guests can rest and recharge during a day at Thorpe Park. The remaining smaller section of Amity Beach continues alongside the new development.
Rumba Rapids has closed during the 2026 season, with no replacement attraction announced.
