Re:Zero fans, there’s been a lot of confusion about the series being extended to 15 arcs. Here’s the clarification straight from author Tappei. During a recent Re:Zero talk show, a fan asked how much of the story was left, and Tappei’s answer was unclear. Many interpreted it as confirmation of 15 arcs instead of the planned 12. However, Tappei later clarified that this was a misunderstanding—he was likely referring to around 15 volumes remaining, not extra arcs. The story structure hasn’t changed, and Re:Zero will still have 12 arcs. Currently in Arc 10, the series is in its final stretch, which promises to be long and eventful.
