So who are the strongest characters we’ve seen so far in Re:Zero Season 4?
Starting at the bottom, the weakest right now is Rem, for pretty obvious reasons. Just above her is Subaru. Depending on the terrain and the situation, though, you could argue he has ways to outplay the next character on the list: Eridna.
After Eridna comes Meili, whose Divine Protection is honestly absurdly overpowered. Then we have Beatrice, but according to Volume 21, Beatrice and Subaru together were only able to evenly match Ram. So in a straight one-on-one, it’s fair to say Ram is stronger than Beatrice by herself.
Above Ram is Julius, who’s considered the third strongest knight in the kingdom. Even so, he still falls short of Emilia, especially right now since he no longer has access to his spirits. At the moment, Emilia should be considerably stronger overall.
Then we get to Shaula. The author has stated that at mid-range, Shaula is one of the strongest characters in the entire world, and she’s still insanely dangerous at long range too. While she’s noticeably weaker in close combat, her raw physical strength alone is enough to overpower Emilia. Honestly, Shaula could probably wipe out everyone mentioned so far at the same time.
And finally, standing infinitely above the rest, is Reid Astrea, who the author confirmed to be the second strongest character in Re:Zero history.
