This weekend I cleaned up my 91 year-old neighbor's front yard. I was cleaning my yard and the adjacent sidewalk when I just decided to go do it. It's been neglected for a while. There used to be someone that would come and clean his yard but I haven't seen that person in a while.
It felt weird cleaning someone else's yard lol. I knew the old man and his wife were inside watching me wondering what the hell I was doing. He eventually came out and thanked me. He was so grateful and that made my day!
That yard was his pride and joy. He was always working on it but age and health problems now prevent him from caring for it. My other neighbor and I talked last night and we're going to keep his yard nice. Feels good, man.
