Next year, and this is kinda hushy hush but my buddy and I might, possibly, maybe ride our bikes all the way to friggin Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. That's the north shore of Alaska. It will be a many-thousand mile journey on two wheels filled with spectacular views, peril, exhaustion, and the testing of my resolve.
It's going to cost...a lot. More than I currently have. I will most likely sell things that I don't use such as some watches, surfboards and maybe even a guitar ( :/). I am pretty sure I will be out of a job by then (unless some good stuff happens). I'll need a good used bike such as a Honda CB500x, some gear, LOTS of gas money and luck.
I fully plan on making it a huge documentary but I'm not sure what the reason would be. I want to interview people along the way and ask them about their watches. And maybe find a place in Anchorage to buy a watch. I don't know. This is all up in the air right now but gosh dangit, life is too short to not experience the shit out of it. Money comes and money goes but experiences...those are what's most valuable to me. It may not happen! Who knows. It's definitely in discussion at this point and I am excited and terrified at the same time. Just how I like it.
