Riddick's ulaks are among the most unique movie weapons, immediately recognizable by the peculiar way in which their blades curve down from the top of the grip at a 90 degree angle. A cool looking design for a badass character, but are they any good?
I also have a few comments on the pitfalls of over-thinking the functionality of fantasy weapon designs. :)
This was recorded at the Fire and Steel shop in Toronto with the CEO Laura Suen, in June 2024.
