Jessie and Jena Tufts bought a 1953 bungalow in a beautiful old neighbourhood, but the home had frost on the walls in the winter and cost a fortune to heat. So they did some research and decided to do a Deep Energy Retrofit vastly improving the insulation, changing all the windows and electrifying their heating systems. The result is a net-zero home in a beautiful old treed neighbourhood that has low or no utility bills.
