hey guys!! here's another silly animation. holiday season is coming up, so be nice to the retail workers!! -or else-
my worst experience in retail was when an old lady and her adult kid came to my counter to return a $1 pencil sharpener that they said didn't work. i was kinda new to the job at the time so i was nervous when i told them we didn't have a refund/return policy. they asked to see the manager, so i called him over, and he told them the same thing, but he could make an exception for defective products. so to do the refund, he asked for their receipt. and they DIDN'T FRICKING HAVE IT. that's just like. that's just like a thing you KNOW, you know?? ensues: a huge argument with me standing awkwardly at the side, which ended when the old lady grabbed the sharpener, threw it on the ground, and straight up stomped on it. (great.) then they took my manager's name and left.
it was just a dollar, dude.
