After three years of working, Siti Mahfudzoh faced inequality in the workplace. The promotion opportunity she applied for was given to her male colleague because he was considered “more reliable.”
After resigning to take care of her child, Siti now works from home as a video affiliate. Through the Link Women program, Siti learned about automation skills to help run her video affiliate business and increase her sales commission while still taking care of her child. Link Women also introduced Siti to a supportive community of women building their careers.
Link Women is a collaborative program between UN Women and LinkedIn aimed at enhancing women's employability through training materials on digital marketing, artificial intelligence (AI), knowledge of gender equality, and eliminating gender bias in the workplace.
