Womens Peace Movement in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia - short version [Bahasa Indonesia with subtitle] This year marks the 25th anniversary of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 – a historic milestone that laid the foundation for the global Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda. To commemorate this landmark, UN Women Indonesia shines a spotlight on four extraordinary women from Central Sulawesi of Indonesia — a region that has endured the compounded impacts of manmade and natural disasters. Through their voices, we witness powerful stories of resilience, leadership, and hope. These women are not only rebuilding their communities but also redefining what it means to lead in the context of peacebuilding and recovery.
