In the Trial Edition of the game, the save prompt does absolutely nothing other than display a message, it doesn't even have a Ink Ribbon check, so I decided to patch it up to check how Saving and Loading works in this build of the game.
As shown in the video, aside from a few glitches it works perfectly fine, the Inventory reverting to its original state is due to how the game initialises itself.
I'm not sure where that placeholder save icon is from, but regardless it caught me off guard when I saw it for the first time, it's totally different from the one they used as placeholder in the October 31 1997 build.

To trigger the first cutscene, its necessary to switch back to regular Regina, to do that without hacks, reset the game and then, with the debug menu set all the previous flags.
Once thats done, go back to room 800 with the debug menu.
This section of the game is mostly incomplete so its quite short, using the debug menu is mandatory. Dino Crisis 2 E3.Ver [EXTRA 4] Exploration Part 3:Haul RoadEdward City](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/y9yuyVFVHaI/mqdefault.jpg)
