Same Shelter Island location as recent videos. 20 ft above MLLW. 18 ft above tide level.
Cool, breezy, broken/overcast. Rare no-mirage day.

Happened to catch Orca Maritime's "RV Benthic Cat" working just inside 8-mile range from where I was recording. I don't see any refraction-produced distortion or mirage, which is rare. There's usually at least a slight amount of inferior mirage detectable.

The drop from horizontal is much more evident than apparent obstruction at the horizon.
