Thinking about take a hike to capture a scene that, I think, should detect whether or not the surface of earth is flat or if it curves. (It's nothing new. Many others have presented examples of mountain peak alignments before.)

My experience has been that when I show images that I think depict what would be predicted for a curved earth surface, globe skeptics and critics will assert that what I captured is exactly consistent with a flat earth.

It's always after the fact, and always comes without a sound foundation.

I believe I've found yet another example of a view that reveals the convexity of earth, but it will take some effort. I'm not going to make that effort if my assumptions going into the project are not agreeable to globe critics beforehand. I would like predictions first, and concurrence that the assumptions as to what would distinguish a flat earth from one with a convex, curved surface before the results are in.

I'm not hopeful.
