The officer responded to a call regarding a repeat shoplifting incident at a local store. The owners informed that the suspect had entered the store, pocketed a $50 bottle of liquor, and walked out—the exact same item he had stolen previously. The officer recognized the suspect's description immediately as a local individual he had dealt with months prior. Upon making contact and performing a search, the officer discovered several items the man could not account for, including a jacket that appeared to be stolen. He was taken into custody and transported to headquarters for processing.
