President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos led the reopening of the Coconut Palace in Pasay City.

Originally built in 1978, the Coconut Palace is an iconic landmark in Pasay City. Designed by Francisco 'Bobby' Mañosa, who later became a National Artist for Architecture and Allied Arts, the Palace is renowned for its distinctly Filipino architecture and its extensive use of coconut-based materials, reflecting the country’s architectural creativity and cultural heritage.

Owned by the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), the Coconut Palace underwent restoration ahead of the 49th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Leaders' Summit in November, where it will serve as one of the official venues.
