"Remember Then", recorded in 1962 by do-wop vocal group The Earls, was a moderate successful hit pop song that reached #24 on the Billboard Hot 100. It has since become widely used by rock and roll revival acts and remains well known for its chorus. Based on a simple collaborating comment "remember when" (the original pre-released title of the song) by music co-writers Tony Powers and Beverly Ross, the song basically wrote itself. The Earls are one of New York City's do-wop success stories. Unlike today's hyped reality talent shows, the group was discovered singing on the street corner in front of subway station.
