You don't need product to refresh, you need better technique. When a curl goes totally wonky, do you keep adding gel… or do you reset the shape first?
Gel doesn’t actually create the curl — it helps it hold once the shape is set.
If a curl is misshapen:
Adding more gel alone won’t fix it
The curl usually needs more water so it can be reshaped
Scrunching, finger coiling, or diffusing while it’s wet is what brings the curl back
Gel comes after to help it stay and tame frizz
Sometimes that means wetting just one curl, not your whole head. Think of it like a mini wash day for that section — enough water to reset the shape, then set it again.
