September invites reflection, so I’m sharing journaling prompts that explore change—how we notice it, resist it, and grow through it. For me, the first sign of the season shifting is the light: softer, slanted, a little golden around the edges.
In the art portion, we start with a black background and layer on metallic paints—doodling, swirling, and letting the shimmer speak. It’s a celebration of contrast and transition, just like the season itself.
