Today I’m sharing a project inspired by Natasha at Treasure Books: her beautiful File Folder Planner. Be sure to watch her tutorial for the proper step‑by‑step construction. She explains it perfectly, and it’s the best place to learn how to put this planner together before adding your own fun twists.
For my version, I decorated the cover using a hot glue technique I learned from Mii Paintings, and it added such a unique textured look. If you want to craft along with me, you can find the papers I used over in the Petals & Parchment Paperie.
This project was full of mishaps, mistakes, and unexpected turns — and I left every single one in the video. I want you to see that journal making is repairable, forgiving, and full of creative problem‑solving. If something goes wrong, you can fix it, patch it, or turn it into something even better.
