Reflective Rolodex Week 30
This week is all about making space for joy—and choosing to invite it in deliberately, especially if it’s been sitting in the background for a while. I talk about what it means to nurture joy as a practice, rather than waiting for it to arrive on its own, and how that intentionality can begin to shift everything.
In the art portion, I attempt to tame my ever-growing scrap pile with a bit of collage play, embracing imperfections and spontaneous combinations. Then, with alcohol inks and a simple straw, I try my hand at creating fireworks—letting go of control and delighting in the magic of color and motion. The result surprised me and added an unexpected layer to this week’s creative journey.
