Reflecting on My Time Living in Siem Reap, Cambodia ๐ฐ๐ญ
I first arrived in Siem Reap on June 1st, 2024, with my friend Sinead โ and to be honest, it was a slightly shaky start. If you'd asked me back then whether I'd still be living in Siem Reap in April 2025, I wouldโve laughed! But this beautiful town in Cambodia quickly began to feel like home.
Living in Cambodia has been one of the most unexpected and meaningful chapters of my journey. Siem Reap welcomed me with open arms โ full of charm, culture, and kindness. The people, the lifestyle, and the sense of peace that comes from living in Cambodia are something Iโll never forget.
Now, as my Cambodia visa comes to an end and I get ready to board a flight, I feel a deep sadness. I may be leaving for now, but I know this is not the end of my connection to Siem Reap or to living in Cambodia.
This magical town has truly changed me. Iโm grateful beyond words for the memories, the friendships, and the simple joy of everyday life in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
