I fermented a sugar mash a while back to get some ethanol. The first distillation was done in a metal still, giving a rough product in need of further cleanup. This ethanol from the first still has a fair bit of water in it, so it needs to be redistilled in a glass setup. Processing about 800 ml gave me a little over 500 ml of clean ethanol as my result. This will be used in future videos where I will do soxhlet extractions of ghost peppers and scotch bell peppers.
