Here is a little more HV woodburning, this time using a 12 kV 30 mA NST as the power source. Salt water was used to wet the boards. Spruce, maple, and mahogany boards were connected to the HV, the maple and mahogany gave the best results. Some nice patterns resulted. While doing one of the boards, I turned off the room lights so the electrical discharges in the wood could be better seen.
