“Redback” was shortlisted as a candidate for the Australian Army’s futuristic armored tracked vehicle project.

After the tests and evaluations for a year, a final bidder is to be announced by the end of 2021.

Prior to the overseas tests and evaluations, Redback carried out various maneuver tests such as on braking, traversing, trench passing and slope climbing.
