The number of K9 artillery customers has increased to nine, with the latest back-to-back contracts with Australia and Egypt in recent months. The expansion of the K9 customer nations the K9 Self-Propelled Howitzer is the world’s most advanced and proven artillery solution meeting the operational requirements of different countries in different battlefield environments. Against that backdrop, Hanwha Defense, manufacturer of the K9 SPH, has announced a plan to establsih a joint user community to share experience and knowledge on how best to operate the system.
