The Redback Infantry Fighting Vehicle has been operated by the ROK Army on a trial basis for the past two months, and its outstanding performance was open to the public at the end of the successful trial operation.
Shortlisted as one of the final two candidates for the Australian LAND 400 Phase 3 program, the next-generation infantry fighting vehicle, developed by Hanwha Defense, is expected to be adopted by the ROK Army through a fast-track research and development program, according to the South Korean arms procurement agency.
