Unfortunately, we found this Red Tail Hawk too late to save him. When the Red Tails are hunting and their prey runs through / under this fencing, the hawk can quickly become ensnared on the wire and unable to free itself. The good news is that this is the first one I've found on this fencing since 2007 when we moved here. The bad news is there are a lot more Red Tails hunting here than ever before.
