Description
For the soundtrack to this video I am playing Duane Langston's fingerstyle arrangement of the American Songbook standard “Red Sails in the Sunset”. It was written by Hugh Williams (music) and Jimmy Kennedy (lyrics) in 1935, and was a #1 hit for both Bing Crosby and Guy Lombardo that year. Several other artists have charted with it in the years since. The slideshow features sailboat pix – all with either red sails, sunsets, or both.
